Wanderport Continues to Produce Successful Results

Market Wire, June, 2010

Wanderport Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced it is progressively optimistic, as component and unit analysis produced further positive results towards finalizing technical specifications towards certification approval for its microwave energy tank-less water heater.

Wanderport is of the opinion that the microwave energy tank-less water heater will not require venting or “relief valve” for its safe operation, although some jurisdictions may require a “relief valve” due to their particularly limited or out-dated legislation. “Our unit operates as an ‘on demand’ electric water heater, therefore, we do not require an external vent as do gas ‘on demand’ heaters in order to evacuate fumes or water from the system resulting from combustion,” stated Robert Simoneau, Wanderport’s Technical Advisor. That being said however, “We are aware that it is necessary to control the exit temperature and to sufficiently provide for a full range of specified temperature parameters which will be monitored by our controller via sensor input,” affirmed Mr. Simoneau.

Concerning the issue of scaling, from a water quality standpoint, any filtration that is provided on the incoming water will add to the life of any unit and provide a better quality of hot water. Hard water contains microscopic particles that are held “in suspension” in the water. When this water is heated, these particles bind together to the interior wall of units built with copper tubing and, over time, cause calcium or lime scale buildup if not flushed out. “Wanderport’s microwave tank-less water heater, unlike most other tank-less water heaters, does not use copper tubing, hence this particle bonding does not occur, thus eliminating this problem,” said Mr. Simoneau. “The microwave ‘on demand’ water heater does not use a metal heat exchanger and has a regular flow of water to constantly flush the unit. In addition, the unit is equipped with multiple features to detect any possible malfunction and a filter at the water inlet, which will catch the larger particles that may otherwise have become trapped on the inside,” continued Mr
